Patchwork Band is a west-Michigan based bluegrass band. You will find us appearing on concert and festival stages across Michigan and Indiana.
Our original songs have the Patchwork Band fingerprint of the northern style of bluegrass
that the band has become famous for. This style is woven through the band's original
arrangements, the old standards, as well as the contemporary bluegrass songs we play.
We derive our unique sound from the driving beat of John's 1941 vintage Kay bass, the
rhythm stylings of Ruth's guitar, the fine picking of Bryan's banjo, and Terry's mandolin
and old time fiddle and harmonica playing. Top it off with our tight harmonies and
you have one great musical experience.
There is something for everyone at a Patchwork Band concert. John, Ruth, Terry
and Bryan hope to see you all very soon.
